Septeo Group, a leading player in Tech and AI, has won the call for proposals for the naming of Montpellier’s rugby stadium, home of Montpellier Hérault Rugby (MHR). This marks a significant symbolic milestone for the Montpellier company, reaffirming both its territorial roots and its shared values with the world of rugby.
This decision solidifies Septeo’s contribution to the community and long-standing support for amateur and professional sports. Already a partner of many local clubs, Septeo is expanding its role in the regional sports scene, especially through its backing of Rugby Club Méditerranée (RCM) and its commitment to nurturing young talent in and around Montpellier.
“It is a great source of pride to see our name associated with this stadium here in Montpellier. This initiative perfectly reflects our core values: responsibility, teamwork, performance and enjoyment ; values we naturally share with rugby. Just like in this sport, success in business comes from working together. It is also a way for us, as a European tech leader, to demonstrate that innovation has a place in the public sphere and to continue inspiring beyond our software,” said Hugues Galambrun, CEO of Septeo Group.
This partnership highlights Septeo’s desire to support the growth and visibility of Montpellier as a major economic and social hub. By associating its name with a venue that hosts top-level teams, Septeo reinforces its role as a driving force in France’s digital industry and its contribution to the region’s vitality.
The newly named Septeo Stadium will be officially inaugurated on September 6, during MHR’s first match of the TOP 14 season against RC Toulon. To celebrate, the club and Septeo are planning a festive evening filled with unique entertainment and surprises, a joyful event for all supporters.
